Preda reinterprets these tiny toys, highlighting how they are often used to soothe children’s emotional needs. In a context where many parents, overwhelmed by daily commitments, struggle to dedicate time and presence to their children, the surprise toy becomes a form of compensation: a rewarding gift for the child and a relief for the adult. Within this dynamic, the heart—an universal symbol of love—takes on a new and more complex meaning.
